The G45Hi offers unrivalled video technology together with outstanding value for money. Light and compact, this model features a 22x optical/800x digital zoom lens, an image stabiliser, dual auto phase control, Y/C enhancer and a photo button to capture still images.
Control over focusing
The G45Hi also incorporates Canon’s unique FlexiZone AF and AE system. The AF system offers greater control over focusing by simply moving the auto focus window to wherever the subject lies within the frame. The user can keep the subject in sharp focus, even if it is moving.
The ideal exposure
FlexiZone AE uses the same white square to provide the ideal exposure. The user has the option of metering from the area selected for focusing to avoid under or over-exposure. These problems can occur when the focusing and metering areas are different.
Useful functions
Time base correction and automatic TTL white balance adjustment ensure clear, accurate and razor-sharp images in all situations. The G45Hi requires just 0.2 lux. Custom keys let the user pre-set two preferred functions for easy access and lithium ion batteries powered by the built-in charger ensure many hours of recording time.
Digital effects
Ten digital effects are included on the G45Hi to offer the user plenty of creative potential: art, b/w, sepia, negative, mirror, mosaic, 16:9, cinema, strobe and ghost effect.
