JVC Company of America is proud to announce the Introduction of its DVL-Series of entry-level digital video (Mini DV) cameras, equipped with advanced features for excellent recording quality in an extremely small, ergonomic design. These new digital video cameras are intended to bring the quality of the worldwide accepted standard DV format to a wider range of camcorder users. JVC is introducing four new models in the DVL-Series, geared to meet the needs and demands of virtually all users.
JVC’s DVL-Series of digital video cameras blows away the competition by offering an array of performance features unheard of in this price range. All of the DVL-Series cameras offer a 680,000 pixel CCD for superb resolution. IEEE 1394 (FireWire) in and out allow the user to quickly and efficiently connect any of the DVL-Series cameras to a computer for direct digital-to-digital transfer. And, with up to 2 hours of recording time provided by the Mini DV tape - the only digital tape format with worldwide acceptance - the DVL-Series of cameras offers plenty of flexibility.
The DVL-Series camera’s user-friendly features begin with positioning of control dials for easy access with one-handed operation.
Digital DV Still Output to a computer is possible with all of the DVL-Series cameras via a serial connection to an RS-232C port. JVC includes the needed software to accommodate this transfer.
Extended Multimedia Connectivity and Software
The DVL Series represents the latest in innovative technology from JVC - the company leading the development of consumer digital video camera technology. These digital video cameras provide advanced connectivity between home video, the PC and a wide range of multimedia equipment, opening up new avenues of creative potential for the consumer.
The new DVL Series offers extensive multimedia connectivity that widens the range of uses and creativity. As well as connecting directly to a TV for playback, digital image data can be output via the high-speed i.Link DV in/out (IEEE 1394 “FireWire”compliant) terminal, for direct digital-to-digital transfer to other equipment with DV input terminals.
Once files have been downloaded, filing or processing of images is simplified with the Presto! suite of software, included with all of the DVL-Series cameras. Presto! PhotoAlbum utilizes an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for creating a digital photo album that can be posted on the net, or e-mailed. Presto! Mr. Photo enables the storing and cataloging of digital photos. Presto! ImageFolio features powerful editing tools for retouching photos and images, and managing their output. In addition, both PhotoAlbum and Mr. Photo include HTML output capability of processed files to streamline creation of web sites.
Each of the DVL Series of cameras comes with a Multi-brand remote control, enabling direct control over multiple VCR brands. This is useful when performing simple video editing or for direct transfer from a DVL Series camera to a video deck.

Camcorders battery. Batteries can sometimes even contain identical battery cells
as the OEM original did, but lacking the brand name, can be offered at a discount prices. Our
GR-DVL600U battery is covered by a 3 year limited warranty, far longer than the
warranty on your original JVC Camcorders battery.
Will the replacement JVC GR-DVL600U
battery work with my original OEM battery charger?
Yes. Our batteries are designed to work with the JVC
GR-DVL600U battery chargers. Similarly, our replacement
JVC GR-DVL600U battery chargers will work with
your original OEM batteries from JVC.
What is your return policy on batteries and battery chargers?
East Coast Photo will refund you, in full, if you are not satisfied with the
JVC GR-DVL600U battery, battery charger or other
