Components

Firm plastic head that screws on and off stick at the plastic threaded part.
Hollow handle made of unidentified material that sounds metallic when tapped on with a fingernail.

Dimensions

Entire broom: With head attached to (and overlapping part of) the handle, the latter measures 40-3/4 inch, the former (including bristles) another 12-3/4 inch. Those inches total 53-1/2, or 6-1/2 under the 60 inches the broom purports to measure.
Head: PVC bristles cover an area 11 inch wide. In their length, the bristles begin at 5-1/2 inch on one side and grow to 6 on the other.

• Bristles frayed at the ends for catching small bits of rubbish
• Angle (gradual increase of length) in bristles lets you keep them flat on the floor while inserting broom into corners
• Lightness (1.15 lbs entire broom, 0.85 lbs of it in the head) takes toil out of work
